About

The Higher Certificate in Nature Management is designed to equip students with knowledge of, and competence in the application of modern management principles in the field of Nature Management. This programme is compiled in such a manner that prospective students that do not meet the requirements for the diploma programme, may apply for the diploma after obtaining the higher certificate (subject to minimum requirements). After qualifying, students will be able to independently carry out essential tasks, make decisions and solve problems in the fields of assistant game farm management and other nature environments.

  • wants to be involved in managing game ranches and nature reserves
  • are involved in nature conservation and wants to obtain a formal qualification
Admission Requirements

NSC (Gr 12) with entrance to Higher Certificate studies or National Certificate (Vocational) with the minimum requirements for entrance to Higher Certificate studies, as specified by UMALUSI (40% in language of instruction)
